From concept to IRL
How do all these promises work for a real-life member? Let’s walk through one:
Member Sam has been experiencing joint pain and fatigue for the last few months. She sends an in-app message to a Celeste Care Advocate. After chatting with Sam, her Care Advocate offers to schedule an appointment for Sam with a primary care doctor.
Sam decides to make this doctor her regular doctor and meets with him virtually the next day. The doctor orders some blood tests for Sam at a local lab. Once the results come back from the lab, Sam gets a notification from Celeste with Accolade about scheduling a follow-up appointment with the same doctor.
At the follow-up, her doctor reveals that she may have an autoimmune condition that requires a specialist. That same day, a Celeste Care Advocate helps Sam find and schedule an appointment with an in-network rheumatologist.
After Sam completes additional labs, the rheumatologist explains that while no specific condition is present, she recommends that Sam start medication to help decrease symptoms. They plan to follow up in a month.
